Privacy Policy
Effective date: [19 July 2026]
"Evolv Ventures" operating as a sole proprietorship, registered at Surat, Gujarat, India ("Evolv," "we," "us," or "our").
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Evolv Ventures collects when you visit evolv.ventures, submit a Financial Health Review request, or contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, how we use and protect that information, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies wherever you are visiting from.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not submit your information to us through this website.
1. Who we are
Evolv Ventures ("Evolv," "we," "us," "our") is a Delhi-based financial and capital advisory firm serving Indian MSMEs. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Evolv is the data controller (or "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a Financial Health Review request, we collect what you enter into the form: your name, company name, email address, phone number, approximate annual revenue range, what you are looking for, whether you currently hold a credit facility, and anything you add in the free-text notes field. If you contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp instead, we collect whatever information you choose to share in that conversation.
We deliberately do not ask for financial statements, PAN or GST numbers, or bank account details through the website form. That information, if needed, is requested directly and securely once we have spoken with you, not collected online.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider's servers automatically log standard technical data when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is standard web server activity logging, not a dedicated analytics or advertising system.
Cookies. This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the site and its forms to function correctly, for example, a security token that protects the Financial Health Review form against fraudulent submissions. As of the effective date above, we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated first, and where required by law we will request your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
3. Why we process this information, and on what basis
We use the information you share for one purpose: to prepare for and conduct your Financial Health Review call, and to carry out any advisory engagement that may follow if you choose to proceed. Specifically:
- To respond to your enquiry and assess how Evolv can help, on the basis of steps you have asked us to take before entering into an engagement with you.
- To deliver advisory services once an engagement begins, on the basis of that contract.
- With your consent, where you have agreed to be contacted about your Financial Health Review, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations that apply to Evolv as a financial advisory business.
We do not use your information for marketing, and do not add you to any mailing list, without asking you first and separately.
4. Who we share it with
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not share your information with lenders, investors, or any other third party without your explicit consent, given at the relevant stage of an engagement.
- Service providers acting on our behalf. Your form submission is transmitted and stored using our website hosting and email infrastructure, currently Hostinger, solely to operate the website and deliver your submission to us. These providers process data only as needed to provide that infrastructure and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes.
- Only Jatan Vyas and Evolv Ventures team members directly involved in reviewing your submission or engagement have access to your information.
- Legal disclosure. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, or a valid request from a government or regulatory authority.
5. International data transfer
Evolv is based in India, and your information is primarily processed and stored in India. Because our hosting and email infrastructure may operate data centres in other countries, your information may in some cases be transferred to, and processed in, a country other than the one you are located in, including countries that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, consistent with this policy.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, deliver any engagement you proceed with, and meet our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If you ask us to delete your information sooner and we are not required by law to retain it, we will do so.
7. How we protect it
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information you share with us against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss, appropriate to the nature of the information involved. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
This website and our services are directed at business owners and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of them, email contact@evolv.ventures.
- Access — ask us what information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal obligation we may have to retain it.

- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting anything already done based on it.
- Data portability — ask for a copy of the information you provided us, in a portable format, where applicable law provides this right.
- Grievance redressal and nomination — under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may raise a grievance with us directly, and may nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Lodge a complaint — if you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. If you are in India, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once constituted, or the relevant grievance/regulatory authority.
We will respond to requests within a reasonable time and in any event within the timeframe required by applicable law.
